Community Resources for the Patient with Cancer

The presenters will highlight community resources available for the patient with cancer

Learning Outcomes

  • Define the different types of cancer treatment facilities available in North Carolina.
  • Describe the types of resources that are available to the cancer patient, including: medical resources for different types of cancer, financial resources, legal resources, survivorship, and end of life care.
  • Explain how to select credible resources and utilize them in the most effective way possible.
  • Discuss resources to access clinical trials.
